Photo Contest Details
Sioux Lookout offers something for everyone whether you are a resident, volunteer, business owner or a visitor to our community. To share the many attributes and uniqueness of our community, we invite you to submit photos that reflect what Sioux Lookout is all about.
Judging:
A panel of judges consisting of Mary MacKenzie, Brian MacKinnon, and three other community members will select the winning photographs. We will award prizes based on overall quality. Judges will be looking for creativity, technical skill and community spirit.
The photos selected will help to promote our community and may be part of the Sioux Lookout website and other Municipal promotional material(s). The decisions of the Municipality with respect to all aspects of the contest are final.
Submission Guidelines:
All photos must have been taken in Sioux Lookout. Photos should represent aspects of the community including, but not limited to: local business, landmarks, landscapes and nature, community events, and people around the municipality. Be creative and show us your Sioux Lookout.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded to the top five photos. Each of the top five winners will receive a $25 gift card for a local business.
Deadline:
The deadline for entering your photos is July 31, 2013.
Winners:
Winners will be announced during the Blueberry Festival.
